I walk alone
Beneath the branches of Yggdrasil
From Asgard’s halls of golden light
Where ancient gods still watch the night
I took the road no man had known
To find the fate that was my own
The roots of Yggdrasil stretched far
Beyond the moon and every star
Through every realm and every sky
I followed where the ravens fly
Nine worlds beneath the sacred tree
Nine paths awaiting destiny
Through the Nine Realms I roam alone
Far beyond the lands I’ve known
Across the branches of the sky
Where gods and legends never die
Through the Nine Realms I carry on
From dusk until the breaking dawn
Searching for the truth inside
Guided by the northern light
In Midgard’s valleys
Fields and seas
I felt the whisper of the breeze
The world of men
Both weak and strong
A place where all souls still belong
Then Jötunheim of stone and frost
Where mighty giants counted loss
Their mountains touched the endless sky
Like sleeping kings who never die
The cold winds sang forgotten names
Across the ice and ancient plains
